![]() ![]() ![]() This update contains several bug fixes to the SSDT version (7) that shipped in Visual Studio 2012 (you have the option of installing SSDT when installing Visual Studio 2012) and this release can be applied as an update on top of Visual Studio 2012 Professional, Premium, and Ultimate Editions. This release of SSDT now supports the Visual Studio 2012 shell, so SSDT is now available for both Visual Studio 2012 and Visual Studio 2010 (actually you could optionally install SSDT when installing Visual Studio 2012, so this new support of the Visual Studio 2012 shell is for the stand-alone version of SSDT). The SSDT team is committed to delivering regular, frequent releases of SSDT, and this is the first in a long line of updates.
